Flow Café @LUMA has opened it’s door on 24th January 2022. Located at The LUMA Hotel in Sutera Avenue, this café seeks to contribute to the vibrant city of Kota Kinabalu with a taste of Borneo’s hidden jewel. The name and colour used in the café’s logo represent the ‘flow’ of Sabah’s crystal-clear waters and sandy beaches. The natural colours applied in cafés logo complement with The LUMA Hotel’s design concepts that focus on Sabah’s pristine forests and natural wonders. Since espresso is made up of 90% water and 10% coffee, the café’s name also reflects on the importance of water that acts as solvent in the making of espresso. A place where imaginations can run free, Flow Café’s design concepts simulate an enchanted cottage that lies deep in the exotic wilderness of Borneo rainforest. The café is radiated with charming floral prints that represent the fauna diversity of Sabah’s rainforests.

A collaborative management between The LUMA Hotel and Flow Café, the new urban café is committed to connect people with coffee, creating a space that will allow customers to enjoy a cuppa while rejuvenating beneath the soothing nature vibes at the hotel. Customers will also be able to enjoy an exciting book over a great cup of coffee or tea besides connecting and sharing ideas with others.
